Carmen 2013

Last year, I got the chance to perform in Carmen. They gave me an adult roll in the chorus (which felt like a huge thing considering I was only 16...), which required crazy rehearsal schedules, corsets, wigs and more. I had done 2 previous operas as a kid in the children's chorus, so I had a fair understanding on what goes on behind the curtains, but having the chance to be an adult really opened my eyes to the craft that is opera singing.
